What are Info Services?
Your UT connection has been transformed into an information center that will now keep you updated with the latest headlines, weather updates, entertainment news, horoscopes, sport, and much more, anytime, anywhere in UT Mobile coverage areas, even when you are roaming abroad.
Info Services are by default activated for all UT Mobile customers. This service will also enable you to get in
touch with the rest of the world using SMS 2 Email, WEB 2 SMS services. It also enables you to download
the latest ring tones and logos you desire.
You can also configure your profile by visiting UT Mobile website www.utmobile.ug/myfone for automated
alerts.
How to Use Info Services with my current SIM card?
Step 1: Go to ‘Messages’ choose `Write messages`
Step 2: Now type the short code of the service you want an update on e.g. “BN” for Breaking News and Send it to 434, within seconds you will get the update on your mobile’s screen via SMS.

UT Mobile customers can track packages sent via FedEx Express with out any hassle using UT Mobile Info Services. With FedEx Package Tracking via SMS, you no longer have to call or get online. How to use this service? To track your FedEx package, send SMS command to 434 as per format below: FedEx <space> package_ number (send to 434). E.g.

Within few seconds you will get a message back giving you the status of the package over SMS.

List of cities supported in Prayer Timings
This service allows you to interact with any of your POP3 based Email accounts. You can read, reply, delete and forward your emails in your POP3 account using this service.
Message Format:
Pop (space) POP3 Server (space) User ID (space) Password (send to 434).
Once you get the first SMS you can navigate in your mailbox using following commands: NEXT, N – Shows header of the next message PREVIOUS, P, PRE - Shows header of the previous message TOP, T- takes you to header of the first message END - Takes you to last header in the mailbox READ- read this mail DELETE – Delete this mail (Be careful!) REPLY, R – Reply to this mail CLOSE- close and clear all navigation setup.

Please make sure that your mobile phone model supports picture message service.

Why was the ring tone or logo received deleted from the mobile?
Make sure to save the received ring tone or logo so it remains in your mobile phone

Yes, you may send picture message from your handset to local & overseas Mobile-phone users. However, the recipient’s handset must support picture message for the content to be received.

You can create up to three accounts. In order to know what your POP server address is contact your email service provider.

It is a GSM email that can be used to send or receive emails from your own mobile using SMS to EMAIL or EMAIL 2 SMS service.
